The story of Della Coletta Bioenergy starts in 1953 , when the brothers settled in Della Coletta Farm Bom Jesus , Cordeirópolis , the first mill brandy family .
Coming to Bariri happened 15 years later when the company is in full development , needed more land to increase the cultivation of sugar cane and the production of brandy . The Monte Alegre Farm offered the ideal conditions for expanding the ingenuity needed . Thus, the property was sold and ingenuity Cordeirópolis transferred to Bariri in 1968 .
The family went on to produce brandy until 1984 . The following year , started the installation of hydrous ethanol distillery . Several changes were necessary at that time , including the replacement of the old mill by another higher capacity. The 2000 season marked the beginning of anhydrous ethanol production by the company . Two years later began making corn syrup and the following year , in 2003 , began manufacturing the VHP ( for export ) sugar.
In June 2009 the company changed its name Della Coletta Plant Sugar and Alcohol Ltda Della Coletta Bioenergy S / A - DCBio . In the same year the company received the certification of Greenergy Bioethanol Sustainability Programme , issued by the British company Greenergy International Ltd. She opened the doors of the European market , especially English , for our ethanol.
In 2010 it was the turn of the Environmental Protection Agency of the United States (Environmental Protection Agency - EPA , its acronym in English ) grant necessary for DCBio to export its ethanol to the largest consumer market in the world record : the U.S. . The plant was part of a select group of eight companies that received this record in 2010 .
In 2012 , new achievement : a DCBio received the certificate from the Federal Government committed company and ranks among the 169 Brazilian companies to receive the seal of the National Commitment to Improve Working Conditions in cane sugar mills .
