Icatu has a modern, efficient and flexible structure for the processing, storage and transportation of coffees of different varieties and qualities. <br><br>The dry mill, that occupies 65,000 square feet (6,000 square meters) of warehouse space, uses high-technology equipment, that can process up to 100,000 coffee bags per month. Coffee is placed in special silos before pre-cleaning and separation. <br><br>Coffee beans are graded by size, density and color, this last operation carried out by state-of-the-art color sorters. <br><br>Icatu warehouses have a storage capacity of 200,000 coffee bags and offer flexibility to store beans either in jute bags or big bags. The sophisticated logistics system operated by Icatu allows daily shipments of up to 5,000 coffee bags from Santos harbor, either by the conventional method (in bags) or in bulk in containers.
