Acerola is a native fruit of Central America, South America and the Caribbean islands, also known as the Antilles Cherry. It is well known because of its great content of ascorbic acid, namely vitamin, with only two fruits the daily needs of vitamin C are remedied. Its proliferation can occur through planting the seed, by grafting techniques and/or by cuttings. The Acerola has an average size of approximately three meters of height with characteristics of shrub. Under constant irrigation, the tree produces fruit all year round and in land not watered so often, it produces fruit up to four times a year. In this case, the acerola flourishes and fruits mainly in the spring and summer period.
